BNL ‘Taken To The High Court’

BNL were given special access to film in the High Court, to make a film for the Housing Rights Service Northern Ireland. The film is to encourage attendance at repossession hearings, to inform people on the procedures and what they can expect when they go to court, ultimately to show how it’s not as threatening an experience as you might think.

We were delighted to be one of the first allowed to film in the actual Chancery Chamber in Belfast where such hearings take place. The script proofing and clearance was a somewhat more ridged than what we’re used to, getting proposals and scripts proofed by the Chancery Office and Lord Chief Justice, we made sure the spell check was on and Ryan Michael (our animator who can’t spell) got nowhere near it.
