Compositing

When making a film, location can often be vital. Without the necessary backgrounds, or when it is difficult to have important items or people together at the same time, BNL Productions can make it seem as though everything and everyone was on location, even if they were hundreds of miles apart. By taking footage of a missing component and digitally inserting it into the film, it will seem as though it was there all along. This is a technique used in many period films where a castle is seamlessly placed in the background to add a sense of reality to a scene. Hogwarts School during a Quidditch game might have seemed real, but much of it was only added after Harry Potter and his Gryffindor team-mates had long since gone for their after match showers.
