Expression of Interest – Stall space at Food & Cider Markets – September 2021
Solitude Park, Banbridge Friday 10th September
Shambles Market, Armagh Saturday 11th September
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council wish to invite you to consider being part of their Food & Cider Weekend Markets, this process is being facilitated by BNL Productions.
On behalf of the Events Team, I hope that you and your family have been keeping well during this uncertain and challenging time.
In accordance with up-to-date government advice, we are hopeful that our annual Food & Cider Weekend Markets will proceed in September this year. In order to ensure the safety of you, visitors and our staff, it is likely that significant operational changes may be necessary. These are principally in order to control attendances and to ensure current Covid safety measures can be maintained. We may need to offer the public timed and ticketed access to the Markets, numbers may also be limited according to guidelines.
We would like to ascertain whether you would be interested in trading at Food & Cider Weekend Markets in this format. Please note that these Market events will only proceed should Government advice allow them.
To express your interest and apply for stall space, please complete the application form attached. It is imperative that you carefully read and agree to the criteria and conditions of entry. Please note that these have changed substantially from previous years to take account of the restrictions implemented over the last year. Based on the level of interest we will take the necessary steps to plan for the Market events.
Following receipt of expressions of interest/application forms, a scoring panel will determine the successful traders to attend the Market events. Successful applicants will be contacted to confirm they still wish to participate in the event. At this stage, applicants will be required to make payment for their stall space.
With consideration still being given to COVID-19, these Market events may have to be cancelled at short notice, in this case all traders will be refunded the cost of applying for stall space.
If the Food & Cider Weekend Markets can proceed, they are scheduled to take place as follows:
||Solitude Park, Banbridge
||2.30pm to 9.30pm
|Urban Orchard Open Air Market
||Shambles Yard, Armagh
