This one is a bit of a throwback but it definitely deserves a blog post!
We have been working with Barnardo’s NI on various projects over the years, each has has a different style, approach and purpose. Last Christmas we were asked along to film a case study, documenting the story of one of their young people’s experience of being involved with Barnardo’s.
Although very simple in it’s approach, this video allows the story to be the focus. We love working with such a fantastic organisation and are really pleased to continue sharing this video with you all!
Barnado’s comment that this video “sums up exactly what Barnardo’s does for children, young people and their families in all our services across Northern Ireland – and it also shows how amazing and dedicated our staff are. Many thanks to Stacey for sharing her story her personality shines through – it’s very moving.”
This video tells the story of Stacey Simpson. She trained at Dr B’s Kitchen in the hopes of achieving a career in the hospitality industry. With the relentless support and encouragement of the staff at Barnardo’s she developed in confidence and gained valuable skills that helped her reach that target. Stacey now has a permanent part time job working front of house in the busy Belfast city centre bar/restaurant, The Kitchen Bar.
An inspirational story!
