We are delighted and honoured to have been notified that BNL have been awarded “Investors in People” status, following a series of visits by the standard’s assessors in June 2012. To gain the award we undertook a number of initiatives over the past two years to support and encourage the team to adopt a healthier working practice which has improved performance and enjoyment to work. The team were interviewed by the assessors about the company’s approach to development, leadership and management.
We really enjoyed the process and gained so much from it. We want to continue to develop BNL to make things better for the team and culture.
Investors in People is a management standard administered by the UK Commision for Employment and Skills and supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. As a national standard for good business practice in the UK, it also provides external recognition to demonstrate how people-focused a business is. Investors In People website.
