Reach your congregation through webcast or live-stream
Whether it’s live or on-demand, we can create a webcast or live stream solution that’s right for you and your audience. Webcasts or live-streaming of church services mean that your content can be accessed by an unlimited audience; bringing a much-needed sense of community and fellowship in these uncertain times.
We are a local company based in Lurgan with years of experience in live streaming worship and sermons for small local Church gatherings, as well as large Christian conferences like the annual Elim Bible Week, and international music concerts such as Micheal W Smith and The Gaithers. You can check out a live streamed conference here
Our small business is facing a reality that a significant percentage of our usual workload forecasted for the next three months has been cancelled or postponed. We are looking at ways in which our company and team can support the local community in these challenging times.
At BNL, we are very aware that as a community, we are all facing economic uncertainty and want to reassure you that our main aim is simply to help. That’s why we have thought of as many different affordable services and alternative approaches that might alleviate some of the pressure facing us all at this time.
What are some of the options available?
With the current global situation around the Coronavirus pandemic it has never been more important to ensure that your message is still being heard. When ‘social distancing’ is recommended, we need to find other ways to draw close to one another; giving support, wisdom and encouragement throughout the dark days to come.
Webcasts or live-streams can help you achieve this, we have solutions from single camera setups to a multi-camera operation that can ensure you continue to reach out and spread your message. We are here to help through this difficult time and we are confident we can find a solution that works for you.
There are a number of solutions that we can support you with during this time and indeed into the future. Below are just a few ideas, however, please feel free to get in touch if you need any further detail or personal advice.
A quick look behind the scenes
What equipment do I need?
You probably already have adequate equipment at your fingertips!
You don’t need to wait on the funds or availability of industry standard equipment. Whether it’s a static camera, your mobile phone or tablet, you can start streaming right away. We can support you in getting this set up, ensuring that your congregation stays connected. If you already have a camera that records your services, the likelihood is that a simple piece of equipment can be added that will let you get online. We can supply this on a rental basis or you can purchase the equipment from us directly if it is something you want to take into the future of your services.
We can rent out the equipment you need
Another solution is for you to hire the equipment you might need to get you through for the foreseeable. From a single camera to a full live production set-up, our extensive range of stock is at your disposal. You can create as big or as small a production as you need. It may also be the case where you need a single camera, a microphone or simply just a tripod, no matter what you need, give us a call and we can chat about how we can help.
How will I set it all up?
We can provide one-off training so that you can manage it yourself
It may be the case that you simply need a one-off training session to teach you how to work the equipment and manage the live stream yourself. You can book one of our team to chat you through the process and ask any questions you might have to make sure the set-up is the best possible solution for your congregation (this training can be done in person or remotely).
We will have remote technical support available
Our team can support you through video calls or telephone conference calls, giving the technical advice you need without having to leave your home/office.
Our team can take care of the whole process for you
If you prefer, our knowledgeable team can build a solution around your needs, set it up, run the show and take it all away with no hassle or worry to you.
With almost 15 years experience in the media industry our team can support you every step of the way. We have produced live stream productions globally for multiple companies and distributed content around the world.
Who will be able to access the service?
We have various, scalable streaming solutions that will allow you to reach not only a local audience but an international one as well. This means whether your audience is located around the corner, in all corners of the UK or globally, they can tune-in from the comfort of their homes or workplaces.
Are there ways for my congregation to get involved?
Yes, absolutely! Engagement isn’t lost; using tools such as audience Slido and Mentimeter we can facilitate Q&A, polling and other commenting services in a safe, organised way. This ensures your audience can interact with the presenter and speakers throughout the service/gathering.
Furthermore, we can integrate the lyrics of hymns and worship songs onto the stream so that they can sing along.
Will it be hard for my congregation to access this?
There are so many different approaches, but we will guide you to the best option for your congregation. This could involve us developing graphics/instructional videos that can be sent out to all members to guide them through the process.
We also have the ability to create hard copies (DVDs) for those members that may not be comfortable or able to access online services.
What about Guest Speakers?
There is no need to cancel meetings because of what is currently going on. Not only can we broadcast your church services to those who normally attend, we can also bring a speaker or presenter to you. Through video calling we can allow speakers who are unable to attend due to the current situation to be broadcast to your audience from the comfort of their own home or office.
We can also take local or remote content applications and merge these into the stream, bringing all of your content together.
What else can I do?
We are very aware that there are many meetings/gatherings aside from a Sunday morning service that might also need new approaches. There are many options, and we would love the opportunity to chat these through with you. Below are some examples of other services that can be implemented:
https://www.sli.do – Interactive presentations with the ability to embed live video, anyone can join with a simple hashtag, allowing a wide range of uses.
https://www.popin.live – Real-time audience engagement platform for company meetings, conferences
