The pre production took 2 months but with the script & story board signed off we had just 7 days to produce the 10 minute corporate film ready for Stormont & Shanghai.

BNL have had a successful lasting relationship with the Dairy Council Northern Ireland for over 3 years producing a variety of films from filming the farmer who threw Rihanna off his farm milking a cow to the Haka vs Zumba.  Check out all 17 films here.

Just last month we met the DCNI to begin to script and storyboard concepts for the corporate promo that needed to be ready with the following month to bring to Shanghai to an exporting trade show with the overall objective of increasing exports of NI dairy products to markets outside the EU and to be shown at

– SIAL China and ProdExpo Moscow

– Inward Missions for 16 buyers per year to visit NI

– 3 Journalist visits to NI per year

– Focus on Russia, SE Asia and Middle East

Filming commenced Tuesday 21st April – Friday 24th April, filming each day at over 15 locations.  As the footage came back to studio we commenced editing to the agreed storyboard and our animator crafted the custom motion graphics.   Making tweaks over the weekend our final draft was singed off Monday 27th April ready to show in Stormont the following morning.  It received a great response and praise from Environment Minister, Arlene Foster.  Later that week we prepared two other versions subtitled with Mandarin and Classic Arabic.

Mike Johnston, Chief Executive DCNI

“Thanks for your help with this project. The DVD has turned out superb, and we’re all really pleased with it.

Well done, and especially given the short time scale.

Mike”

Wishing the DCNI and the Dairy Companies the best of luck at the trade shows.  Film will become public soon.
