In October 2014 we were awarded a tender to build and develop an information based website for Domestic Violence. Working with Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership we successfully launched reachout.care. This website is designed to enable those people who may be experiencing any type of abuse to get help and support within a few clicks.
Focusing on those people who have experienced Domestic Violence we patterned with local charities and organised focus groups to gain a better understanding of what this site should do and look like. Custom artwork removed the usual stereotypical images and provided a more welcomed image to the site.
The site is also designed to ensure the user is protected from those people who may cause them harm, detailed information shows the user how to clear their internet history and cookies, ensuring they get the information they need and still remain safe.
