Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards
Now in their 12th year, the Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards recognise the importance of people to an organisation and celebrate the very best organisations in Northern Ireland. This is the second time we have been heavily involved in the live production of an Awards ceremony with the Irish News. This year the awards took place on Thursday 8th June at Titanic Belfast- a black tie event with all of the trimmings!

Here is how we were involved:
Pre-Event
We worked closely with the client to produce custom animated graphics for two 4*2 metre LED walls specific to the clients needs. We paid careful attention to their branding guidelines and put thoughtful consideration into the aims of objectives for the evening to successful develop the graphics. BNL’s dedicated project manager supported The Irish News on the lead up to the event, using our experience to offer recommendations on running order and aiding the smooth flow of the event through provision of a full event and tech rehearsal.
Set up
A full lighting setup was provided with a lighting engineer that designed a programme to compliment the venue and appropriate drama for an awards ceremony of this kind. Our full audio set up was provided with line array speakers and an audio engineer for the duration of the event. BNL also managed the provision of two custom built LED walls 2 metre wide buy 4 metres tall with a visual director to operate the graphics throughout the event.
Highlights film
BNL produced a highlights film of the event to showcase the set-up, nominee and winners, as well as capture the excitement of the evening’s festivities. The film was ready the next day for the client to upload to their website and distribute on social media. We do this so quickly to ensure that the film’s reach is maximised and therefore will extend the “hype” of the event for organisers and attendees alike.
