11267545_10153140519453880_2528821942845852833_oBNL Productions have been working with the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council on the year-long SPACE project which anticipates the re-opening of the Portadown People’s Park as a shared space. We have been delivering a communications, events and community engagement programme as part of a consortium, The Peace Builders Collaborative.

Within the Communications strategy, we were excited to work with Microlip, a local band that show great support of cross-community initiatives and are extremely talented in songwriting and performance.

A catchy pop song was written and ready to excite the public for the reopening of The People’s Park… but it needed a music video. This is where we step in and the fun for us really began.

We loved coming up with different ideas for the music video but in the end we knew that it was a must to get as many local faces, Community groups and businesses involved as possible.

We want to say a huge “Thank You” to everyone that got involved, we had a blast! All filming was able to take place over 2 days, with editing commencing within minutes of the shoot finishing. It was a late night/early morning but we were able to send a first draft in the afternoon of the third day!

It has been such a pleasure for us to have been a part of the SPACE project and we are really proud to say we have been involved. Thanks for thinking of us and letting us be a part of it and here’s to many more projects in the future.
